Abstract:

In October, 2022 Eguma Robert Yikii, field primatologist at BCFS, filmed a day in his life on camcorder. The film documents Robert’s daily activities, including waking up in the early morning for work, planting pine trees in his plot, and playing pool in Nyabyeya. It shows the wider life into which primate data collection is embedded, by highlighting the many activities that resident field primatologists are involved in, including their personal and community responsibilities.
